PW Cinnamon Rolls

December 30, 2011

If you’ve read this blog much or been to my house for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’ve probably been subjected to the recipes of Pioneer Woman a time or two.  Not one single recipe from her site has failed me, in fact they’ve all been pretty amazing.  Obviously the majority agree, she is a blog superstar and now has her own Food Network show.

For Christmas I whipped up a batch of the famous PW Cinnamon Rolls for friends and family.  If you Google “cinnamon rolls” this recipe comes up on the very first page as it’s that popular.  There’s probably a thousand other food bloggers that have shared with their readers these exact rolls, so this post is not winning any originality points.  But dang it – these are so good I don’t care if I’m the 5, 344th person to make my own blog post about them.  Plus LinG is a gardening/food blog, waaayyyy different.

These rolls are all about the butter.

The cinnamon.

And the maple (yes, maple) frosting.

And because PW shows and tells you how to make these step by step, much better than I ever could – click here to take your cinnamon roll making to a whole other level.

These would make a great addition to your New Year’s Day brunch.  Feel free to share a pan with me while you’re at it.

P.S. Grandma – your pecan cinnamon rolls are still the bomb!

Mmm, I’ve heard many good things about those rolls. I’ve no doubt that they were delicious. I have a sweet treat linky party going on at my blog and I’d love it if you’d come by and link your rolls up. http://sweet-as-sugar-cookies.blogspot.com/2011/12/sweets-for-saturday-50.html. It’ll be open till Monday night.
